KPMG’s new office was designed with employee collaboration and comfort in mind. The project involved complete demolition of the existing space and creation of a modern, open-concept office that offers a variety of workspace options with varying levels of privacy.
There are few barriers in the space, and the ones that do exist are flexible to maintain the open-concept feel. Private offices have glass walls and doors, allowing for the free flow of natural light into the rooms. There are huddle couches with dry-erase-top tables for sketching, as well as small huddle rooms for privacy.
Lockers are available for employees to store their personal items so that they can move around between workspaces. This helps encourage employees to move more during the day and choose the workspace that works the best for their needs.
All materials were recycled using best practices, and all paints contained low or no VOC (volatile organize compounds).
