Alexandria, VA | 84,000 sf

This project is a 7-floor, 84,000 sf renovation to consolidate the ACPS Central Office Staff from three separate City locations into one cohesive space. The interior renovations at 1340 Braddock Place were completed in order to be occupied by the Alexandria City School Board, Central Administrative Offices of ACPS, the Adult Education Program, and the TC Williams Satellite Campus.  The three-phased construction schedule consisted of interior renovations on 7 existing floors, most of which occupy approximately 12,000 sf of usable space. While the phases began simultaneously, substantial completion dates were staggered to allow for full occupancy of the first two phases while the third and most robust phase was being complete.  The first phase of construction was the build-out of a data center on the 3rd floor, and the second phase was the complete interior renovation of the 7th floor. All remaining levels were completed during the third and final phase.

The levels are divided into various uses including: educational spaces, training centers, student areas and classrooms; board rooms and private offices; central/administrative office space and open workstations; multi-functional conference rooms, technology/IT areas and support space; reception, circulation, lounge and storage space.
