We are pleased to announce that our Founder and Executive Chairman, Linda Rabbitt, has been named one of Virginia Business Magazine’s 2024 Women in Leadership Award recipients. This prestigious award highlights Linda’s extraordinary achievements, dedication to mentoring, and significant impact on the construction industry.

Over the past four years, the Women in Leadership Awards has highlighted several outstanding executives across various business sectors. This year’s cohort includes 38 impressive women, chosen from over 250 nominees. All winners work in Virginia, hold C-suite or equivalent positions, and have demonstrated extraordinary professional achievements, including breaking glass ceilings, mentoring others, engaging in civic work, and bringing their leadership skills to nonprofit and company boards.

Linda Rabbitt founded rand* construction in 1989, becoming one of the few female leaders in the industry at the time. Her visionary leadership has grown rand* from a small tenant interiors firm into a Top 400 national multi-market construction contractor. Linda’s extensive industry knowledge and professional experience have enabled rand* to deliver award-winning work for a vast client base.

As an active leader, Owner, and Executive Chair of the Board of Directors, Linda continues to serve as a resource to our leadership and management teams, guiding the future of rand*. She also dedicates time to mentoring future construction professionals, especially women, and serves on several local boards and committees.

This recognition is a testament to Linda’s tireless commitment to excellence and her significant contributions to the construction industry. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and grateful for her leadership.
