rand* completed the TD Ameritrade Boca Raton retail bank branch and tenant build-out with stringent owner and LEED requirements. The scope of work included the fit-out of an existing structure into an environmentally-conscious and updated retail bank space, open workstations, closed offices, conference rooms and lounge areas. The space features operable partitions, new drywall application, all new flooring, MEP systems, paint, signage and FF&E.
Working with an established national client, rand* was required to coordinate with specified owner-selected vendors for select trades. The primary challenge of delivery was the remote location of the architect, the TD Ameritrade corporate representatives, and the rand office from the project site. Consistent and clear communication among all team members was the responsibility of the rand team, who executed the chain of command seamlessly. Ensuring the LEED requirements were being met during the build-out was an added responsibility, yet all credits were carefully recorded and tracked to ensure the client would reach its goal of LEED Silver certification. The dedicated sustainability department in rand* allowed for a streamlined process for the LEED certification process.
