rand* worked with iTriage, a healthcare technology company acquired by Aetna, on the interior renovation of their Denver headquarters. The scope of work was a complete demolition of the existing space and combining two suites to create one large, open office space with a variety of workspace and privacy options. The unique design is represented of a showcase space and functions as a model for other corporate branches to utilize the same program and design language.

The open space, combined with the open grid ceiling and natural light, facilitates a modern workspace feel. Part of that modern design also included a variety of options for collaborative versus private workstations; staff are offered a wide range of options, from large tables for group work and the bleachers for presentations to huddle corners and offices for privacy. The open work environment can be transformed to host a number of functions by use of operable partitions including a custom garage door.
