Alliance Bernstein is a valued partner with rand* delivering over twenty projects for the asset management company in five states and seven cities including: Philadelphia; Austin; San Antonio; Houston; Tampa Bay; Denver; and Atlanta. The Piedmont project in Atlanta consisted of a 10,000 SF interior build-out in a second-generation space. The primary scope included new glass and drywall partitions, custom interior finishes, modifications to the MEP infrastructure, ACT, millwork, flooring, glazing, doors and frames, furniture, and appliances.

The high-end finishes included custom wall finishes/covering, ACT, Decoustics and Maxxit ceilings, wood flooring, and an Italian demountable glass partition system. The glass elements created a design language throughout the space as glass accents were continued in the back-splashes, decorative wall, and light fixtures within the suite.

Emphasis on the submittal and material tracking procedures was vital to ensure the availability of materials in line with the project schedule especially with regard to the continuing supply-chain issues. A clear and constant communication plan was implemented to ensure all project documentation and controls were readily available, allowing for prompt changes to the project approach. This was most notable with design changes to architectural details based on an investigative site survey allowing for constructability modifications to be implemented while maintaining the design intent and controlling the project schedule.
