CDLE

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment project delivered a thoughtfully designed, modern workspace that balances functionality, accessibility, and visual impact. The project incorporated a retail/storefront component, creating an inviting and accessible environment for public interaction while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding workplace. Interior finishes were carefully selected to support both the organization’s branding and the functional needs of the space, including custom wallcoverings and specialty films that add visual interest while providing privacy and enhancing the overall user experience.

A defining feature of the project is the attention to detail throughout the elevator lobbies, where custom-colored acoustic baffles were incorporated to provide improved sound control while serving as a distinctive architectural element. The baffles introduce color, texture, and dimension to otherwise transitional spaces, creating a cohesive design experience from floor to floor. The combination of custom finishes, branded elements, acoustic treatments, and carefully coordinated architectural details resulted in a professional and engaging workplace that supports CDLE’s operational needs while creating a welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike.
