Crane Worldwide Logistics is a global transportations and supply chain service provider that has 120 locations in 30 different countries. Crane Worldwide Logistics contracted rand* to update their office space in Atlanta, Georgia. The project had a schedule of twenty-weeks which included both indoor and outdoor improvements. The project also included a demolition of the existing storefront to create a new entrance to the office space.
The project consisted of multiple large-scale upgrades, including a complete roof replacement totaling 453,000 square feet, an RTU replacement, and 21,000 square feet of interior renovations. The interior renovations included varying levels of finish flooring and specialty millwork, creating a unique space for Crane Worldwide Logistics. Additionally, in order to complete this project, coordination of multiple trades in a staggered sequence was required. The design intent of the project focused on providing the client with an original and functional space. It was critical to use the limited preconstruction period for dedicated approach development meetings to clearly understand all of the client expectations and integrated it to detailed workscopes to control the quality and schedule of the project.
