ERCOT, the electric provider for over 26 million Texans partnered with rand* construction for the buildout of their new office space. Taking over a cold dark shell, the team worked on developing a beautiful space that would house the ERCOT employees. Including a public boardroom with a custom wood ceiling and two operable Skyfold partitions allowing a flexible use of space. Being an electrical provider, ERCOT also had an emergency generator installed along with a large HVAC system.

Outside of the functional elements of the design, the space also features a beautiful breakroom with high end millwork and finishes. The building also provided an expansive deck height at 24’ which allowed for the design team to incorporate an impressive lighting package and areas of accent paint that tied back to ERCOT’s brand. From a design perspective the space incorporated many collaboration zones giving the employees and guests a place to work comfortably.
