JOOLA’s scope consisted of the simultaneous build-out of a high-end corporate office on the 13th floor and a street-level flagship retail space. As a first-generation tenant improvement, both spaces were constructed within a newly delivered shell. The office environment was designed to prioritize executive functionality, while the retail space serves as a dynamic brand showcase and customer destination.
The 13th floor workspace included executive offices, conference rooms, kitchen and breakroom facilities, and extensive AV/IT infrastructure. Custom curved millwork walls and ceiling surrounds, curved glass elements, and Alur office fronts with a combination of 4’ x 4’ ceiling systems and open ceilings added architectural interest to the space.
Linear lighting throughout, wrapped structural columns to mimic pickleball paddle grips, and reflective concrete floors created depth and aesthetic appeal. The retail space incorporated branded wood feature walls, specialty light fixtures, baffled ceilings, custom millwork displays, and signage elements specifically designed to reflect the JOOLA pickleball brand.
A key challenge throughout the project was integrating JOOLA’s unique branding into nearly every architectural feature, coordination among design consultants and specialty fabricators. Through proactive coordination and scheduling, the team successfully delivered both spaces while maintaining quality standards and meeting the client’s operational goals.
