Knapp, a global logistics and automation company, hired rand* to transform an existing warehouse in Kennesaw, Georgia, into a Class A office environment supporting its growing operations. The scope included construction of new office space, a breakroom, and renovated restrooms while adapting the existing industrial shell to meet the client’s functional requirements.

The renovation incorporated specialized architectural elements, including trench duct systems recessed into the existing concrete slab and suspended ceiling baffles with integrated lighting. These features required precise coordination among trades to seamlessly integrate building systems while maintaining schedule and design intent.

With ceilings reaching approximately 25 feet, nearly all overhead work required lift access throughout construction. Through detailed planning, strategic sequencing, and proactive field coordination, the team safely executed complex overhead installations while maintaining project momentum.
