rand* construction was contracted to complete a full demolition and rebuild of a half floor at the McKinney & Olive Building located in Uptown Dallas. The client wanted a space that was open, bright, and inviting to welcome their clients into as well as to help grow their team in Dallas. With limited time, rand* launched into a 15-week schedule with the intent of delivering on a refreshed workspace that accentuates the building’s modern, concave structure.
The changes came down to creating a high and open ceiling concept for a big impact as soon as you walk into the office. Further past the reception, the team created a polished concrete walkway to lead to the elegant boardroom and perimeter offices. Black-framed sliding barn doors act as demountable partitions and line the space, drawing in the natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows that encircle the outer perimeter. To finish the space, rand* completed an open concept breakroom and huge pantry that is a perfect space for team bonding and informal company gatherings.
