Thompson Hine, a national law firm, hired rand* to complete a 24,600-square-foot, full-floor renovation of its occupied office on the 16th floor of Two Alliance Center in Atlanta. The project included a complete transformation of the client-facing spaces and a phased renovation of back-of-house offices, requiring construction to be carefully coordinated around the firm’s ongoing operations.

The renovation incorporated high-end architectural finishes, including custom millwork, wood paneling, wood slat ceilings, large-format tile, and integrated lighting systems. A feature boardroom with wood wall and ceiling panels served as a focal point of the space, requiring precise coordination to execute the detailed architectural elements.

Maintaining uninterrupted business operations remained a priority throughout construction. Through strategic phasing, off-hours work, and a project-specific quality control process, the team minimized disruption while delivering the project ahead of schedule.
