rand* completed the second project for Wilson Elser in Atlanta, GA months after the delivery of the initial Washington, DC space. The project was a jewel box space housing a complex design within a small footprint. The full-service litigation firm structured the program for their new office space through a variety of office settings. The design called for offices, work stations, collaborative areas and conference rooms in which the tenant uses the space for standard office functions.

The primary scope of the project was alterations within a second-generation tenant suite on the fourteenth floor. The existing tenant demising walls remained as-is with full demolition of all existing interior walls, doors, millwork, ceilings, and finishes within existing tenant suite and minor modification to public corridor demising wall.

The project required all new walls, doors, millwork, ceiling and finishes to be installed as well as new MEP infrastructure throughout. New plumbing locations, power/communication and HVAC distribution had to be coordinated carefully during layout to ensure the new design conformed to the limited footprint. The numerous custom materials within the design including the millwork, baffled ceilings, lighting, and glass required the development of a pre-release package prior to mobilization to control the schedule.
