Zayo Boulder – East was a 39,181 square foot interior building out within the 29th Street Mall in Boulder, CO. The space had been previously occupied by the client and was in need of a renovation to fit their current needs. This modern design by Acquilano, included a break room, market, various conference rooms and several open offices throughout. Notable features were custom fabricated T&G, floor-to-ceiling restroom tile, and custom paint designs.

This space had been previously occupied by several tenants creating conditions that needed to be overcome to achieve a clean look in the space. Another challenge was coordinating access and deliveries within the outdoor mall and inside various retailers spaces to complete work.

The execution of this project heavily relied on the strong partnership between rand* and its subcontractors to combat challenging lead times and material escalations. Due to supply chain constraints, 14-week project was almost unheard of during the time of this build out. With careful coordination with the design team, rand* pre released material and worked with local lighting reps to ensure that the materials were on time to meet the aggressive schedule. The collaboration between all parties involved, resulted in a successful project that was built on time and within budget.
