Tangram Interiors has expanded into the Dallas market with a newly constructed 12,000-square-foot showroom located in the East Quarter.

A standout feature of the project is the floating central conference and office areas. Achieving this design required meticulous coordination of above-ceiling steel structures to provide the necessary support while maintaining the desired aesthetic. Additionally, the integration of various operable and demountable wall systems, provided by the owner, allows the showroom to display a range of products in multiple configurations, demonstrating their versatility in different settings.

The rand* team played a pivotal role in delivering this project. Their transparent communication and prompt information sharing enabled the team to navigate challenges effectively, particularly concerning lead times. Mid-project design changes necessitated significant rework in several areas; however, the team’s adaptability ensured that the project was completed within the original timeframe.

This project exemplifies a successful collaboration between Tangram Interiors, JLL Design and rand* construction, resulting in a dynamic space that honors Dallas’s heritage while showcasing modern design and functionality.
