David is an Executive Vice President, Partner, and co-lead of the Washington, DC metro office with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a very diverse background of construction experience including complex base-building projects, major renovations and a large portfolio of tenant work. Most recently he served as the Director of Interiors for Gilbane in the DC/Northern Virginia Office. His duties with rand include growing and expanding many aspects of our client base and subcontracting partners and helping senior leadership with technical challenges and business opportunities. 

David received his BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and recently completed his MBA at Georgetown University. While managing the construction of the Virginia Tech Signature Engineering Building (Goodwin Hall) in Blacksburg, Virginia, David was honored as the College of Engineering’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award for his overall career accomplishments and contributions to the profession. David grew up in Columbia, SC and, enjoys going to concerts with his wife Stacie and their friends, playing golf, and bicycling around Alexandria on the weekends.
