David is an Executive Vice President, Partner, and co-lead of the Washington, DC metro office with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a very diverse background of construction experience including a vast portfolio of tenant work, complex base-building projects, and major renovations. As Executive Vice President, he leads the firm’s corporate functions including legal, HR, finance, and IT. He is also responsible for growing and expanding many aspects of our client base and subcontracting partners and helping senior leadership with technical challenges and business opportunities.
David was named a Washington Business Journal 40 Under 40 in 2022. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and recently completed his MBA at Georgetown University. While managing the construction of the Virginia Tech Signature Engineering Building (Goodwin Hall) in Blacksburg, Virginia, David was honored as the College of Engineering’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award for his overall career accomplishments and contributions to the profession. David grew up in Columbia, SC and, enjoys going to concerts with his wife Stacie and their friends, playing golf, and spending time with his two children.
