Baker Botts contracted rand* to provide construction management services for their two-floor first generation law firm buildout in downtown Austin. The project includes the buildout of first generation, high end office space in the new River South Building in Austin, TX.

Encompassing one and a half floors on levels 12 & 13, Level 13 features a reception conference floor with high end finishes and fixtures. This floor includes a pantry with warming drawers, commercial refrigerators, ice makers and microwaves, a server room with 24-hour AC and redundant system and an office services area with printers and copiers. Also included on this floor are two restrooms, a wellness room and a client coffee bar. Level 12 is an office floor with a combination of open and enclosed offices, a large lounge break room, a restroom and wellness room. The scope of work also included the elevator lobby on Level 12 and upgrading core stairwells with different finishes.
