Cyber GRX had a unique situation in which they were moving from Floor 3 of the same building up to Floor 6. The purpose of this move was to have a more consolidated space, & one that displayed more intentionality than their last. We were ready to utilize the natural elements of the layout to really maximize their move & give them a new home that would beat any reminiscence of the last.

Cyber GRX kept its signature office front look with wood slats running across the glazing partitions adding to acoustical performance as well as visual privacy. Acoustics were amongst the larger challenges with this project considering the entire floor is polished concrete. Very few baffles or acoustic treatments are in place to mitigate sound transfer. Therefore, careful attention was paid in sound masking efforts & layout configuration that would combat noise travel. HVAC was especially important to organize as most of the space is OTS ceiling. The HVAC had to be condensed into the veiled, private office above-ceiling space & choreographed in a way that vents & diffusers would not create quick paths to adjacent offices where every conversation would swiftly become a public one. Our subcontractors coordinated with the rand* team & landed on solutions that pleased the client while receiving extra praise for our concealed diffuser look in each office.relevant experience
