rand* construction was engaged to provide preconstruction and construction services for a global energy company establishing a satellite office in Houston. Brought onto the team during the final stages of design development, rand* played a critical role in material selection, budget development, and the coordination of an investigative site survey. This early site analysis ensured that the final design was fully compatible with the existing conditions and minimized unforeseen construction challenges. The project encompassed the full build-out of an entire floor, incorporating a wide range of custom features that required detailed craftsmanship and sequencing. Upon entry, visitors are met with highly detailed construction elements, including custom millwork walls, integrated cove lighting, high-end flooring finishes, a stone-clad reception desk, and a dynamic media wall. Throughout the space, rand* constructed a combination of open office areas supported by huddle rooms, private offices, conference rooms, phone rooms, and breakrooms, all designed to foster flexibility and collaboration.Careful attention was given to the installation of specialty finishes and the coordination of building systems to support the design’s open-concept layout. The project’s success reflects rand*’s proactive preconstruction planning, tight schedule management, and commitment to delivering a high-performance, visually impactful workplace.
