Protiviti contracted rand* to provide construction services for their new 20,783 square-foot class-A office build-out. Their new office space was a full floor build-out with occupancy above and below. The project scope was a complete demolition and build-back of conferences, open office, private offices, training room, pantry, reception, team rooms, breakout space, elevator lobby, and new MEP infrastructure. The high-end design featured a contemporary aesthetic with custom materials highlighted throughout the project.

The project is showcased by baffled ceilings, unique paint colors, demountable partitions at office fronts, demountable bi-fold doors at phone rooms, cloud ceilings, and polished concrete. The project was subject to a limited preconstruction period making communication and procurement critical for project delivery. Prior to mobilization, rand participated in dedicated strategy meetings with the architect, construction manager, and the client to on-board all vendors and expedite approval for material submittals for a pre-release procurement to control the schedule. This allowed for the development of an integrated schedule including vendor milestones and delivery windows to ensure the site met proper turnover conditions for delivery of the next work-scope.
