Tecovas once again entrusted rand*, their multi-market partner, to create their newest location within upscale NorthPark Mall in Dallas. This project required meticulous planning and execution to ensure a seamless integration into the bustling mall environment. The team’s innovative approach included the installation of a collapsible opening from NanaWall, which could be discreetly stacked away during store hours and securely closed when not in use. As with all Tecovas stores, the NorthPark location boasts custom millwork displays and architectural elements. One notable feature is a stunning hair-on-hide mural by Kyle Bunting, adding a touch of artistry to the space. Additionally, the store’s vaulted ceiling with intricate rope detailing further enhances its appeal, creating a welcoming ambiance for customers. Executing this project in a fully occupied shopping mall presented its own challenges. All construction work had to be completed during off-hours to minimize disruptions to other retailers and customers. Working closely with project partners, rand* created a gorgeous, bepoke space that reflected the design team’s original vision. Tecovas NorthPark is a testament to rand*’s dedication to excellence, innovative construction methods, and collaboration.
