rand* renovated the 26th floor of an existing 50-story building to serve as an expansion suite for Wilson Elser, a law firm specializing in litigation and corporate legal services. The scope of work included elective demolition of the existing interior fit-out to make way for a new design plan. New interior construction featured an open office area, multiple private offices, meeting rooms, a pantry with seating, a breakroom, and a lobby area, all designed with functionality and aesthetic appeal in mind.
In addition to the comprehensive project scope, which involved the incorporation of high-end finishes and materials, the renovation required exceptional coordination. The Wilson Elser space was located above occupied residences, necessitating careful planning and execution to minimize disruption. Floor cores and electrical systems were coordinated with individual tenants to ensure that work was completed efficiently and without disruption to their daily activities. This careful attention to detail not only ensured a smooth construction process but also helped maintain a strong relationship with the client, with whom rand* worked closely to meet their needs and expectations. The final result is a sophisticated and functional office space that enhances Wilson Elser’s work environment while ensuring that the project was completed on time and with minimal impact on the building’s other occupants.
