Bain signed on to occupy the penthouse floor of the brand new, Class A building, Block 162 in downtown Denver. The floor has deck heights up to 17 ft tall, allowing the architect group, Acquilano, to design the space with high ceiling elements throughout.
The finished space features Navy Island wall paneling and ceilings, a Modena concrete floor topping, Armourcoat round columns, and a topographical metal wall. Additionally, there are Muraflex and Teknion demountable wall systems throughout the space, and a Skyfold divisible wall at the training rooms. Bain maintains strict sound attenuation requirements in all their spaces, and through diligent subcontractor coordination and consistent attention to detail, rand* was able to turn over a space that meets Bain acoustic standards. Many of the materials used in the space had lead times that would not work within the project schedule in traditional sequencing, so rand* had to get creative by releasing materials early and maintaining the correct height elevations throughout the course of construction. All dimensions were successfully held, which contributed greatly to the project success.
The CBRE, Acquilano, Bain and rand* teams worked together intimately to bring a space with high design features to life. Bain’s goal is to leave a lasting impact with their clients whenever they visit the space, and their new Denver office does just that.
