rand* construction partnered up with PDC Energy, Task PM, and Stantec to relocate PDC Energy to the Granite Tower building in Denver. The project originally spanned floors 13-17 & 19th over 130,000 sqft.

The scope of the project included a full demo of the existing floors, two interconnecting stairs connecting all floors, over 100 private offices, conference rooms, reception areas, 6 cafés, & a large boardroom. To minimize any permit risks during the project the team took the approach to have each stair set and floor permitted separately.

A major challenge of the project came halfway through when PDC elected to lease an additional floor. The client asked rand* to explore any means necessary to deliver the 19th floor concurrently with the 5 floors we were currently building out. Rand* was able to develop a schedule meeting with all subcontractors, owner vendors, & stake holders re sequence work and delivered all six floors on time to our client.
