Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators (DMBA) manages the welfare and financial benefits for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its affiliated entities. This renovation project encompassed a comprehensive redesign of four distinct areas within the DMBA office building—two smaller sections on the first floor and two complete floors on the upper levels. Each space was fully gutted and reconstructed to meet updated functional and operational needs.
The scope of work included the demolition of existing interiors, reconfiguration of wall layouts, and the installation of all-new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Fireproofing was applied to exposed ceilings using K-2 rated materials, and core drilling was completed to accommodate new infrastructure. Updated flooring and finishes were installed throughout to enhance both aesthetics and usability.
In addition to structural and systems improvements, the renovation involved relocating several key departments, including Human Resources and Facilities Maintenance. A new IT/server room was built to support expanded technology needs, and the print and mail room was modernized to improve efficiency. The reception area was fully redesigned and now includes integrated security camera systems to enhance building safety.
This project was executed with a focus on functionality, modernization, and security, ensuring a more effective and supportive workspace for DMBA and its continued service to Church employees and affiliated organizations
