This client selected rand* to be an industry partner for multiple phases of upgrades across their multi-floor tenancy in Downtown Denver.
The phased work began with an elevator lobby refresh on five floors, four breakroom kitchen renovations and an LED upgrade across five floors. The final leg of work was a full floor renovation. The renovation included fifty-six office spaces, four conference rooms, a secure operational control center, a training room, and two kitchens. A portion of the floor was to be occupied by a technical control center and therefore had extensive mechanical and electrical work above grid in order to accommodate their 24/7 occupancy.
In order to finish the scope within the confines of the client’s fiscal year, rand* was challenged with sequencing selective demolition and a full floor buildback within an accelerated project schedule of twelve weeks. Material acquisition posed a significant challenge, but through daily onsite coordination and subcontractor management, the project team was able ensure all trades and vendors had the tools to work alongside each other to successfully complete the project.
