Arrive Logistics is a freight brokerage company that contracted rand to complete a tenant build out of a new space. With a tight schedule of only sixteen-weeks and a design that required the use of complex IT and electrical components, rand* built out over 76,000 square feet of space to create a unique work environment for Arrive Logistics through expansive areas of open office space with custom millwork demarcation points to house the IT and power infrastructure.
Although there were changes made at multiple points throughout the project, the team was able to adapt the schedule and finish the project on time, while still satisfying the client’s expectations. This was principally due to the clear and constant communication between the design team, owner, and rand starting at award to clearly define the design intent and client expectations.
This project includes many diverse elements, making the new Arrive Logistics space one that is unique and functional. These diverse elements begin in the reception area, with a moss feature wall and planter, and continue throughout the space with a barista station, a fitness center and showers, four cafes, and open area workstations. Additionally, the space includes conference rooms, private offices, and four restrooms. The project team coordinated daily through phone or on-site meetings, in addition to having OAC meetings and update walks weekly.
